- Anti-debugging function improved
The new version is more robust to defend against attacks that potentially bypass AppSealing’s anti-debugging logic.
- Cheating tool detection logic improved
Fixed error at the OS layer which stated that some cheating tools are not detected due to an error occurring in the OS layer while the AppSealing cheating tool detection logic is running on some devices.
- Crashlytics compatibility error fixed
Fixed an error for Firebase-Crashlytics in which Native Crash that occurred in the shared object of an app that applied the version after AppSealing 188.8.131.52.
- Unity 2018.4 Mono app compatibility fixed
Fixed ‘Failed to load mono’ error that occurs in runtime when AppSealing is applied to an app built with Mono, .NET 3.5 Equivalent with the build options Scripting BackEnd and Scripting Runtime Version in Unity 2018.4
- Fixed Sealing failure while deploying
Fixed Sealing error which occurred while deploying AppSealing for Apps with large Dex file size or many classes
- New version supports Unity 2019.3
Unity has been upgrading its versions to serve a stable platform for their users. AppSealing is able to keep the same pace with new unity versions and the latest version supports Unity 2019.3
- Clone App detection in Work profile
App sealing is defending cheating apps through clone apps. Clone apps running on Android’s work profile can expose you to cheating, macros, and user viewing. In order to defend against this, AppSealing latest version provides an option to detect and block when an app with AppSealing security is cloned and executed in the work profile
This release is recommended for all users and is a free update to all existing AppSealing customers and subscribers.
How to apply the new AppSealing version?
Professional and Enterprise plan customers are able to choose Android AppSealing security versions on AppSealing Developer Console (ADC) or CLI supporting DevOps.
– Sign-in to ADC and select the security version 184.108.40.206
– CLI: set parameter as “-service_version 220.127.116.11”
