AppSealing Holds Seminar on Mobile Game Security at Seoul Business Agency

Emphasizes importance of mobile games security to companies residing in Seoul Game Contents Center.

May 29th, 2015, Seoul, Korea – INKA Entworks (CEO Sung-min Ahn, www.netsync.co.kr), a company specialized in digital contents security, will hold a seminar on security of mobile games at Seoul Business Agency (SBA)’s Seoul Game Contents Center on June 2nd (Tuesday) starting at 2 PM.

This seminar is for the companies that reside in Seoul Game Contents Center and has been planned to support small- and medium-sized mobile game developing companies that lack the time and investments to focus on the security aspect of mobile games.

Jin-sun Hong, CTO of INKA Entworks’ AppSealing, has been invited to explain the definition and various routes of hacking into mobile game apps as well as effective countermeasures. Also, by presenting a security service based on a cloud system, he will offer his advice for mobile game start-ups to establish their own guidelines on security system and policies.

At INKA Entworks, Hong currently holds the positions as the head of research center and CTO, and has been an integral part of the development of PallyCon, a cloud service for digital rights management (DRM), and AppSealing, a security service for mobile apps.

Seoul Game Contents Center serves as an incubating agency for game businesses, established to provide a stable development environment for small- and medium-sized game developers to, ultimately, form a solid foundation for the growth of the games industry and reinforce their competitiveness in the market. 18 companies currently reside at the Center, which is operated by SBA.

Ik-soo Jung, Director of SBA, stated, “As many small- and medium-sized game developers have been competitive in the global market with a variety of mobile games developed and released in the middle of a continuous growth of the entire mobile games industry, it has become increasingly critical to protect games contents, the most valuable assets for these companies…we anticipate this seminar to be a great opportunity for the companies at the Game Contents Center to be interested in, and begin actively pursuing, the topic of mobile games security.

Ahn, CEO of INKA Entworks, added, “I am extremely pleased to hold a seminar on mobile games security to support the start-up companies that have just stepped into the games industry…we will continue to speak out the importance of security for mobile games and actively support small- and medium-sized games development companies.”

AppSealing (www.appsealing.com), a mobile game security service based on a cloud system that offers a strengthened protection for mobile game apps, was launched in 2014 by INKA Entworks, an expert in digital contents security that possesses not only technological competitiveness globally but also a long history of service experiences in the digital contents and copyrights protection industry.

“AppSealing” service is currently available in Korea and China and, recently, mobile games that have applied the “AppSealing” security service have been released onto “China Mobile Market” and “China Unicom Market”, two of the most popular mobile games markets in China, through “Unity Games China”.
